Dr. Alfred Wyatt, Jr. has been in the private practice of dentistry for over 30 years and has utilized multiple lasers and light technologies in his practice for over 16 years. He received a B.S. degree in biology from Clark College in 1980 and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1984. He presently serves at his alma mater, now the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, as Associate Professor of Oral Rehabilitation. Dr. Wyatt is also a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) where he has served on the board of directors and attained Advanced Proficiency and Educator Status. He is past chair of the Education Committee of the ALD and uses several types of lasers in his practice. He has been the author or co-author of several publications related to the clinical use of light technologies.
Dr. Wyatt is in full time family practice dentist in Atlanta, Georgia and his daughter Dr. Charlotte Wyatt recently joined his practice. Alfred is a Past-President of the Georgia Dental Society and his affiliations include the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society, the National Dental Association, where he is part of its speakers bureau, the American Dental Association, and several state and local organizations.
